Young Living members and guests in Southeast Asia recently enjoyed special training from Dr. Peter Minke, one of our Scientific Advisory Council board members, during his four-date tour. He drew upon his experience as a father and 16 years of experience with Young Living to teach how essential oils can be used in a wide variety of settings. Dr. Minke also educated members on common misconceptions about essential oil safety and explained the biology and chemistry of essential oils.

Low temperatures will not damage or freeze your essential oils, but they may change their appearance. For example, Rose oil may thicken or gel when it gets too cold. Placing the bottle under warm water or rolling it in your hands will help the oil to liquefy again. Citrus oils may become cloudy when cold, but this occurs naturally and you may continue to use them as usual.
