The shortened month of February presents special challenges for those with end-of-month autoship orders. Please be aware of the following timelines so you can make any necessary adjustments to your order and receive your products on time!

Winter Ordering: What You Need to Know

With the cold winter weather being experienced by many Young Living members, please remember that low temperatures may affect NingXia Red® during shipping. If you live in a cold climate, consider upgrading your shipping method to at least FedEx 3Day shipping to protect your order of NingXia Red from freezing, breaking, or leaking. We also recommend ordering NingXia Red singles, which will not be affected by cold temperatures and have full PV!

Low temperatures will not damage or freeze your essential oils, but they may change their appearance. For example, rose oil may thicken or gel when it gets too cold; placing the bottle under warm water or rolling it in your hands will help the oil to liquefy again. Citrus oils may become cloudy when cold, but this occurs naturally and you may continue to use them as usual.

Building Your Business: More Efficient Communication with Social Media

Social media is a powerful but sometimes underused tool to communicate with your organization and share Young Living. Adam Green, who at 23 is one of the youngest Platinums in Young Living history, considers it to be a crucial factor in his organization’s success.

“Social media is arguably my most valuable resource and tool in growing my business,” says Adam. “Social media removes borders and gives you the ability to communicate with individuals worldwide about the life-changing opportunities available with Young Living.”

Below is the first in a series of four great social media tips from this motivated power builder:

“I started what I call ‘secret member groups’ as a Silver, and they have been extra effective in supporting my much larger group as a Platinum. I created secret member groups exclusively for my own team. I have three groups created: one for product users and customers, one for business builders, and one for leadership (Executives and above). This allows me to communicate effectively with members in my group in a targeted way, regardless of their location.

“Being able to support long-distance lines is vital, and this strategy allows me to diversify my business through social media. In my product users group, I can post educational information, comment, and help people with their questions, while others also leave their own input and learn from each other.

“Having a business-only group allows me to communicate business information effectively, without worrying about the average product user who is currently not interested in the business. These groups expand quickly, as my members also add their own new enrollments, and this group is utilized daily for easy education and duplication.

“Connect with your upline leadership team to see if systems like this are already in place. For some members, it may be best to create their own groups; for others it might be better to work with their upline. In my organization, these systems were established early on, so my leadership team uses them to their fullest for our mutual benefit.”
